Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development activities for food colors, dyes, and specialty chemical products
  • Perform laboratory experiments, synthesis, formulation, and product development trials
  • Maintain proper documentation of experiments, observations, and reports
  • Handle analytical instruments and testing equipment
  • Support process improvement and scale-up activities from lab to plant
  • Coordinate with Production and QC departments for trial batches
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain R&D records
  • Raw material evaluation and product stability studies

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of chemical reactions and laboratory practices
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instruments like HPLC, UV, GC, etc.
  • Good understanding of formulations and process development
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and safety procedures
  • Good communication and documentation skills
