Production Manager
Job Description:
Role Objective-
Manage complete factory production operations, ensuring smooth workflow, target achievement, manpower supervision, machine management, quality control, and operational efficiency. Preferred experience in woodworking, doors, furniture, or related manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily production floor operations
- Achieve production targets as per schedule
- Read technical drawings and layouts
- Supervise woodworking machines and maintenance
- Manage manpower, shifts, and productivity
- Coordinate with QA/QC, stores, and dispatch
- Control material usage and reduce wastage
- Ensure safety, PPE, and quality compliance
- Maintain production reports and records
- Resolve production issues and improve processes
Qualifications-
Education: Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Production, Mechanical, Wood Technology, or related field
Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing/production operations, preferably in woodworking, doors, furniture, or interior manufacturing industries.
Skills-
Knowledge of woodworking machines
Technical drawing understanding
Production planning & workflow management
Material handling & coordination
Basic ERP & Excel knowledge
