Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Export & Import Documentation Executive with a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling international trade documentation and logistics coordination. The candidate should have practical knowledge of export-import procedures, shipping documentation, customs compliance, and coordination with freight forwarders and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage export and import documentation accurately and on time.
  • Handle shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL), Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin (COO), and other trade-related documents.
  • Manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and ensure compliance with banking requirements.
  • Coordinate with customs agents, CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade policies.
  • Track shipments and maintain proper records of dispatch and delivery.
  • Verify invoices, shipping bills, and documentation for accuracy.
  • Communicate with overseas clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain MIS reports and documentation records for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in export-import documentation.
  • Practical knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade operations.
  • Experience in handling LC documentation, invoicing, BL, COO, and related documents.
  • Experience in an import-export company or trading house will be preferred.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/software related to export-import operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Management, or related field.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of DGFT, customs regulations, and logistics coordination is an added advantage.
