Position:        Safety Officer

Location:        Vapi

Experience:    4 - 5 Years

Industries:     Chemical

 Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) activities in the plant.
• Ensure compliance with factory safety standards, statutory regulations, and company safety policies.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments regularly.
• Maintain records related to safety permits, incidents, PPE, and training.
• Organize safety training programs, toolbox talks, and mock drills for employees and contractors.
• Monitor hazardous chemical handling, storage, and disposal practices.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare corrective and preventive action reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments for safety compliance and emergency preparedness.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and adherence to SOPs on the shop floor.
• Liaise with government authorities during inspections if required.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of ISO / EHS standards.
• Emergency response and incident management.
• MS Office and report preparation.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation + Any Safety Related

Salary :- Upto 5.00 LPA
