ELECTRICIAN FOR FABRICATION PLANT- RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

We are looking for Maintenance Electrician who can repair machines like grinder machine , welding machine,EOT Craine, etc

The Electrician in a fabrication plant is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and control panels used in manufacturing and fabrication processes. The role ensures safe and continuous operation of electrical equipment and supports production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, control panels, and machinery in the fabrication plant
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in production equipment and systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, panels, and plant electrical systems
• Ensure proper functioning of CNC machines, welding machines, compressors, and fabrication equipment (if applicable)
• Maintain and repair lighting systems, power distribution boards, and control circuits
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all electrical safety standards
• Maintain maintenance logs and report repairs and replacements
• Coordinate with mechanical and production teams to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and workplace safety regulations

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with motors, relays, breakers, PLC basics (preferred)
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of 3-phase power systems
• Knowledge of safety procedures (LOTO, PPE usage)

Qualifications

• ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• 2–5 years experience in a fabrication/manufacturing plant (varies by role level)
• Valid electrical license (if required locally)
