Sales & Marketing – Corporate Gifting
Job Description:
Role Summary
The role is responsible for generating and managing corporate gifting business by identifying new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of gifting orders. The candidate will drive lead generation, client engagement, order coordination, collections, and customer satisfaction while supporting business growth across corporates, distributors, gifting agencies, and select HORECA clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify, approach, and generate leads from corporates, existing clients, distributors, gifting agencies, and select HORECA clients.
Conduct cold calling, emailing, networking, and follow-ups to build a strong sales pipeline.
Respond to inbound enquiries and convert them into business opportunities.
Promote gifting products, seasonal catalogues, and customized gifting solutions to prospective clients.
Support business expansion by building strong client relationships and repeat business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
Understand client requirements including budgets, customization preferences, gifting timelines, and execution expectations.
Share relevant product options, catalogues, samples, and promotional materials with clients.
Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure continuity of service and relationship strengthening.
Support client meetings, product presentations, tea tasting sessions, and gifting showcases.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely responses and proactive follow- ups.
Order Coordination & Execution
Coordinate order processing, approvals, customization details, artwork approvals, packaging requirements, and execution timelines.
Manage samples, product displays, and gifting showcase arrangements.
Work closely with supply chain, warehouse, logistics, and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Ensure smooth project execution with minimal errors and adherence to committed timelines.
Provide timely and accurate updates to the Manager – Corporate Gifting and relevant stakeholders.
Collections & Commercial Compliance
Ensure 100% advance payment collection from all new clients before order processing.
Coordinate timely payment collection from existing clients immediately upon delivery.
Support the Manager in maintaining pricing discipline, approved discounts, and commercial hygiene.
Reporting & MIS
Maintain accurate databases of leads, enquiries, client history, and contact information.
Update daily and weekly sales trackers, follow-up sheets, and pipeline reports.
Prepare and submit MIS reports with analysis on lead status, conversion ratios, collections, execution status, and repeat business trends.
Track gifting season performance and maintain repeat order analysis reports.
Market Intelligence & Coordination
Collect and share market feedback, customer insights, competitor activities, and product preferences with internal teams.
Coordinate with product and marketing teams for relevant client requirements and market opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in corporate sales, gifting sales, FMCG, hospitality, or B2B business development.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Good coordination and execution management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
