Accountant ( LED Lighting Industry)

Job Description:

Role Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting operations, cash collection, banking activities, stock verification, and GST preparation. The candidate should have good knowledge of Tally and Excel, possess a valid two-wheeler driving license, and be willing to travel for banking and office-related work when required.

KRA: Task / Activities

• Handle daily cash collection and accounting entries
• Maintain accounts, vouchers, and records in Tally ERP
• Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports using MS Excel
• Conduct regular stock taking and inventory verification
• Deposit bank cheques and coordinate banking activities
• Prepare GST-related data and documentation
• Maintain purchase, sales, and payment records
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounts reconciliation
• Ensure proper maintenance of financial documents and reports

KPI: Performance Metrics

• Accuracy in accounting entries
• Timely cash collection updates
• Proper stock reconciliation
• Timely bank cheque deposits
• Accuracy in GST preparation data
• Daily and monthly reporting completion

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Tally ERP
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of GST preparation
• Cash handling and bookkeeping experience
• Stock taking and inventory management knowledge
• Must know riding a two-wheeler
• Valid driving license is mandatory
