Job Description:

Qualification: BE / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
Experience: min 2 to 4 Years experience in In-process Quality inspection for Molded part, Sheet metal, Machined Components, Quality Management systems, IATF 16949 knowledge, quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai
Gender: Male

Job Responsibilities:
Regularly inspect production processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
Verify that manufacturing activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control plans.
Conduct in-process inspections & Pre-Dispatch Inspection, including dimensional, visual, and functional checks, to identify defects or deviations.
Ensure that parts and assemblies meet specifications before proceeding to the next stage.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, deviations, and test results.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.
Investigate quality issues and non-conformities in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
Identify the root causes of defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant certifications.
Work closely with production, design, and procurement teams to address quality-related challenges.
Ensure all measuring instruments and testing equipment are calibrated and in good working condition.
Conduct quality training and awareness sessions for shop-floor operators and team members.
Analyze customer complaints related to in-process quality issues.

Skills and Key Requirements:
Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
