Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Current Account
Department: Retail / Branch Banking Sales
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager – Current Account is responsible for driving acquisition of Current Account customers, managing sales teams, increasing CASA growth, and building strong relationships with SME, corporate, and business banking clients within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Current Account acquisition through field sales and branch banking channels.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly CASA and revenue targets.
- Manage and motivate a team of Sales Officers / Relationship Managers.
- Identify new business opportunities in SME, trade, and corporate segments.
- Build strong relationships with business owners, traders, and corporate clients.
- Cross-sell banking products such as POS machines, payment solutions, insurance, and loans.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies and KYC norms.
- Conduct sales reviews, training, and performance monitoring for the team.
- Coordinate with branch operations and internal stakeholders for smooth customer onboarding.
