PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR FURNITURE MANUFACTURING -RAIPUR, CHHATTISHGHAR

• Production Planning: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules aligned with sales orders and project deadlines.
• Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and evaluate shop-floor staff, including carpenters, upholsterers, machine operators, and assemblers.
• Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous quality standards for prototypes and finished goods, immediately addressing defects or deviations.
• Material & Inventory Control: Oversee the usage of core materials (e.g., plywood, MDF, solid wood, metals, hardware) to minimize material wastage and prevent stock-outs.
• Machinery Maintenance: Ensure woodworking and assembly machinery operates safely, scheduling routine maintenance to minimize production downtime.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with design, procurement, and dispatch teams to ensure client specifications are met and deliveries arrive on schedule. [1, 2]

• Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience with furniture manufacturing processes (cutting, edge banding, multi-boring, pressing, assembly, polishing).
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, CAD layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Software Proficiency: Strong grasp of production scheduling and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Production, Industrial Management, or Mechanical Engineering; MBA in Operations is often preferred
