Job Description:
Position: Business Development Professional (Southeast Asia & Indian Subcontinent (ISC) region)
Location: Navi - Mumbai / Bangalore
Education: B.E./B.Tech (Engineering discipline preferred)
Experience: 7 - 12 years in the Engineering Services / EPCM industry, with exposure to ISC market and client management.
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the APAC Head / Regional Lead – International Sales, the Sales Manager is responsible for generating new leads, supporting new business revenue activities and profitable results from the Power, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Metal & Mining, Infrastructure and other related businesses. He / She will be covering the territory of Southeast Asia and Indian Subcontinent which includes Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development & Research: Identify and evaluate business opportunities in ISC; build market intelligence.
- Business Acquisition: Generate and manage leads; grow pipelines to meet annual sales targets.
- Corporate Presentations: Develops sales and execution plans in line with the needs of the clients and industry. Creates persuasive presentations to secure new business.
- Single Point of Contact (SPOC): Acts as the primary contact and is responsible for responding to requests for proposal, requests for information, and other project-related documentation.
- Proposals & Bidding: proposal preparation, review, EOI submissions
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify local associates, form consortiums, NDAs, and cooperation agreements.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate across Business Units, partners, and internal stakeholders for smooth execution.
- Travel: Frequent international travel across ISC/APAC for client meetings and business development.
