Job Description:

Position:      Asst. Manager - Accounts & GST

Location:      Fort - Mumbai

Experience:   5 - 7 Years

Industries:    Chemical

 Responsibilities:  

• Accounts & Finance
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and MIS reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• GST Compliance
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.).
• Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and vendor filings.
• Handle GST input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance tracking.
• Respond to GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Monitor changes in GST laws and ensure organizational compliance.
• Taxation & Compliance
• Support TDS calculations, payments, and return filings.
• Maintain statutory records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations.
• Reporting & Coordination
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with banks, consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
• Support budgeting and financial analysis activities.

 Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GST laws and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Books.
• Good understanding of MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

 Required Qualification: - B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter
