Job Description:

POSITION: Deputy Manager/Manager
Reports to (Position): VP - Investment Operations
Business Unit: Investment Service FTE:
Location: Mumbai 
Education Background

MBA/ Graduate (With minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience) or Chartered Accountant
(Fresher or with 1 Year of Experience)

Principal Accountabilities :

 Prepare and review all frequency regulatory/management reporting’s in line with SEBI/Internal guidelines
 Review of NAV and scheme return
 Strong control over scheme invoice processing & year end provision and ensure accuracy in accounting entries received.
 Manage GST- TDS timely payment and return filing.
 Perform month-end reviews including TB scrutiny & reconciliations
 Coordinate audits and support timely closure of scheme financials
 Review and timely closure of half yearly portfolio and financials
 Maintain a comprehensive data repository for all reports received from the outsourced fund accounting team
 Drive process improvements, automation, and manage stakeholder relationships.
 Support implementation of new projects and changes brought because of regulatory or business requirement.
 Benchmarking similar industry practices and work towards implementation of best practise
 Regular review and update of relevant process manuals and SLA’s
 Having hold on existing SEBI mutual Funds regulations and vision on implementing the new regulation affecting fund accounting areas.

Knowledge, Experience
 Knowledge of NAV Calculations, Fund Accounting and Fund Expense
 Knowledge of SEBI regulations, GST & TDS
 MS office with special expertise in Excel, Bloomberg, and other related software Competencies
 Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
 Excellent Time management and Planning skills
 Good interpersonal skills
 High degree of integrity
 Ability to work autonomously but to know when to escalate.
 Ability to perform under pressure.

Preferred Industry
Experience

 Ideally the candidate should have experience in the mutual fund space though
not a pre-condition.
 If not from mutual fund space, the candidate could be drawn from the
financial services space including insurance, commercial & investment banks,
non-banking finance companies.
