Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales Alignment: Develop strategic B2B marketing initiatives (SEO, SEM, and email campaigns) to generate qualified sales leads. Work closely with the sales team to convert these leads into contracts for services like ocean freight, air freight, and warehousing. [1, 2, 3]
- Brand Positioning & Management: Define the company’s 360-degree digital and offline strategy. Establish a consistent brand presence across industry directories, websites, and promotional materials. [1, 2]
- Market Research: Conduct market intelligence to map business potential, identify new markets, and analyze competitor pricing and strategies. [1, 2]
- Industry Events & Networking: Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and client networking events to build strategic partnerships. [1, 2]
- Campaign Analytics: Track and analyze the return on investment (ROI) and performance metrics for all advertising and promotional spend. [1, 2, 3]
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Typically 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, specifically within freight forwarding, cold chain, or supply chain services. [1, 2]
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics operations (freight, customs clearance, warehousing) to effectively market complex solutions. [1]
- Digital Fluency: Proficiency in managing digital channels, content marketing, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. [1, 2]
