The Role
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of media relations, brand storytelling, and industry engagement. You will work directly with senior leadership to build Softlink Global's reputation across trade publications, podcast platforms, industry associations, and events; both in India, and internationally. If you are someone who loves crafting a compelling story, building media relationships, and owning end-to-end communication campaigns, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Media
• Research and identify PR opportunities, free publication platforms, and international media tie-ups
• Build and maintain relationships with media houses, editors, journalists, and publication partners
• Write and manage PR articles, press releases, media notes, and thought leadership content
• Handle media queries and coordinate timely responses with internal stakeholders
• Prepare Q&A documents and briefing notes for media interactions and leadership interviews
• Manage self-publishing activities across company platforms and external channels
• Coordinate paid media collaborations in India and international markets
• Maintain and regularly update the company's media contact database

Reporting & Analytics
• Maintain PR dashboards, campaign tracking reports, and media coverage logs
• Plan and execute monthly and quarterly PR calendars with clear KPIs
• Share regular performance updates with the marketing team and leadership

Events & Awards
• Research and coordinate participation in industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and awards programmes
• Manage end-to-end communication with event organisers and media partners
• Support leadership participation, speaking opportunities, and brand visibility at events
• Coordinate media interactions and press coverage during and after events

LogiTALK Podcast & Thought Leadership
LogiTALK is Softlink Global's flagship thought leadership podcast, bringing together voices from across the global logistics and freight forwarding industry.
• Develop and execute the LogiTALK content strategy in alignment with broader brand goals
• Research and identify industry experts, guests, and relevant discussion topics
• Coordinate interview schedules and podcast recordings for the leadership team
• Prepare interview questionnaires and discussion briefs for each episode
• Manage post-production PR, circulation, and promotional activities for each episode

Content & Digital Media
• Write blogs, articles, and industry-focused content for various platforms and trade publications
• Create content for additional media coverage and brand-building opportunities
• Collaborate with the design and creative team to produce PR collateral, social media assets, and visual content
• Amplify PR and podcast content across social media channels to maximise reach
• Support the broader marketing team with strategic content for campaigns and initiatives
• Provide basic crisis communication support and assist in coordinating responses when required

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience
• 2–5 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, media relations, or content marketing
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in B2B, logistics, technology, or SaaS industries is mandatory
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong research skills and a natural ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Working knowledge of content publishing platforms, social media channels, and basic analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

Who You Are
• A natural storyteller who is passionate about brand communication and industry narratives
• Comfortable handling leadership communication, media interactions, and representing the brand externally
• Highly organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects without losing attention to detail
• Genuinely curious about logistics, freight forwarding, global trade, and technology — prior industry experience is a plus, not a must
• Collaborative by nature, with the confidence to take initiative and work independently when needed
