About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retention Manager to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) General Insurance products and demonstrate expertise in client retention, relationship management, policy renewals, and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and retain existing corporate and individual insurance clients.
- Handle policy renewals and ensure high retention ratios.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze client insurance portfolios and provide suitable renewal solutions.
- Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams for seamless policy servicing.
- Address client queries, policy-related concerns, and claim support requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling insurance products.
- Monitor renewal pipelines and ensure timely follow-ups with customers.
- Prepare retention reports and MIS as required by management.
Required Product Knowledge
Candidates must have hands-on experience and sound knowledge of the following General Insurance products:
- Fire Insurance
- Property Insurance
- Engineering Insurance
- Marine Insurance
- Liability Insurance
Desired Candidate Profile
- Female candidate with 4 to 9 years of experience in the General Insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of Non-EB insurance products and retention strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and renewal portfolios.
- Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.
