About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retention Manager to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) General Insurance products and demonstrate expertise in client retention, relationship management, policy renewals, and cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and retain existing corporate and individual insurance clients.
  • Handle policy renewals and ensure high retention ratios.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze client insurance portfolios and provide suitable renewal solutions.
  • Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams for seamless policy servicing.
  • Address client queries, policy-related concerns, and claim support requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling insurance products.
  • Monitor renewal pipelines and ensure timely follow-ups with customers.
  • Prepare retention reports and MIS as required by management.

Required Product Knowledge

Candidates must have hands-on experience and sound knowledge of the following General Insurance products:

  • Fire Insurance
  • Property Insurance
  • Engineering Insurance
  • Marine Insurance
  • Liability Insurance

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Female candidate with 4 to 9 years of experience in the General Insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of Non-EB insurance products and retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and renewal portfolios.
  • Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.
