PPC Engineer / PPC Manager

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, design, and dispatch departments.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution of orders.
• Plan raw material and component requirements as per production targets.
• Track machine manufacturing progress and maintain production reports.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
• Coordinate with vendors and stores for material availability.
• Follow up on pending activities to avoid production delays.
• Maintain inventory control and WIP (Work in Progress) monitoring.
• Generate MIS reports related to production planning and dispatch.
• Improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure adherence to delivery timelines and customer commitments.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control processes.
• Experience in engineering or machinery manufacturing industry preferred.
• Good understanding of BOM, routing, inventory, and production scheduling.
• Proficiency in ERP software and MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical ability.
• Leadership and team management capability.

Qualification

• Diploma / BE Mechanical / Production Engineering
• Additional certification in production planning will be an advantage.

Experience

• 3 to 10 years experience in PPC within engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Experience in machinery manufacturing preferred.
