BUSINESS HEAD IN MINING SEGMENT FOR INDUSTRIAL SUPPLIERS - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and result-oriented Business Head to lead our Mining Products division. In this leadership role, you will be entirely responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and heading the sales and business development teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise in mining equipment—specifically Portable Compressors, Drills, Breakers, Rock Drill Tools, and OTR (Off-the-Road) Tyres—combined with a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate the mining segment, maximize market share, and achieve annual revenue and profitability targets.

Team Management: Head, mentor, and motivate a pan-regional sales team. Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and high performance.

Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with major mining corporations, contractors, government bodies, and institutional clients.

Product Portfolio Management: Drive the sales lifecycle for the entire mining portfolio, including:

Capital Equipment (Portable Compressors, Drills, Breakers)

Consumables & Spares (Rock Drill Tools)

Specialized Components (OTR Tyres)

Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes in the mining sector to identify new business opportunities and mitigate risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Service, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless product delivery, excellent after-sales support, and timely credit/revenue realization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
| Criteria | Requirement |
| Experience | Minimum 10 years of hard-core sales experience specifically within the mining equipment/products segment. |
| Leadership | Proven track record of at least 3–5 years in a team-handling / leadership role, managing direct sales reports. |
| Education | Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mining Engineering or a related technical field. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is highly desirable. |
| Product Knowledge | Deep technical and commercial understanding of Portable Compressors, Drills, Breakers, Rock Drill Tools, and OTR Tyres. |
| Network | An established network of contacts within major mining companies, quarries, and infrastructure contractors. |
