Senior Travel Consultant (Domestic & International)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Travel Consultant with 4+ years of experience in Domestic and International travel bookings. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing travel arrangements for clients, ensuring exceptional service and seamless travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle domestic and international travel inquiries and bookings.
• Design customized travel itineraries based on client requirements and budgets.
• Book flights, hotels, holiday packages, cruises, visas, travel insurance, transfers, and other travel services.
• Provide accurate information regarding destinations, travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel advisories.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and travel partners to secure the best rates and services.
• Manage end-to-end travel arrangements from inquiry to post-travel support.
• Resolve customer concerns, booking modifications, cancellations, and emergencies efficiently.
• Achieve sales targets and maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling travel products.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and travel documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and supplier offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in domestic and international travel consulting.
• Strong knowledge of global destinations, visa processes, and travel regulations.
• Experience with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Strong sales and itinerary planning abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in corporate travel and leisure travel management.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange and travel insurance processes.
• Strong supplier and vendor management skills.
• Multilingual communication skills will be an added advantage.
