Purpose

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, ensuring product quality, managing new product development, and coordinating with contract vendors. This role ensures that production

aligns with regulatory standards, efficiency goals, and the company’s strategic objectives.

Scope

T The Production Manager will lead end-to-end production activities, including in-house manufacturing and outsourced vendor management. They will ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in processes while supporting innovation in new product development.

Key Responsibilities

 Production Planning: Develop and execute production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
 Quality Control: Implement and monitor QC processes to ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and CE standards.
 Vendor Management: Coordinate with contract manufacturers, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery commitments.
 New Product Development: Collaborate with R and D and engineering teams to transition prototypes into scalable production.
 Process Optimization: Drive lean manufacturing practices, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
 Regulatory Compliance: Ensure production processes meet international medical device standards.
 Team Leadership: Supervise production staff, provide training, and foster a culture of accountability.
 Cost Management: Monitor budgets, reduce production costs, and improve profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
● 5+ years of experience in production management within medical devices or healthcare technology.
● Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 13485, FDA, CE).
● Proven experience in vendor management and quality assurance.
● Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
