Job Description – CAD Checker (Credit Administration Department) – Banking

Position: CAD Checker
Department: Credit Administration Department (CAD)
Industry: Banking / NBFC / Housing Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Verify loan files and ensure all required documents are complete and accurate before disbursement.
• Check compliance with sanction terms, credit policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Review KYC, income, banking, legal, technical, and collateral documents.
• Ensure proper execution of loan agreements, security creation, and charge registration.
• Coordinate with Credit, Sales, Legal, Operations, and Risk teams for discrepancy resolution.
• Validate disbursement conditions and process loan disbursements within defined timelines.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Monitor documentation deficiencies and follow up for closure.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required records and reports.
• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal control procedures.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of loan documentation and credit administration.
• Understanding of retail, SME, or corporate lending processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with KYC, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in banking systems and MS Office.
