Printing Operator – FFG Machine

About Us: We are a pan-India manufacturing group specializing in the production of paper corrugated boxes, boards, and allied packaging products. Our manufacturing units are located at Ranjangaon MIDC (Pune), Butibori MIDC (Nagpur), and Bagnan (Kolkata). We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our Production team as a Printing Operator.
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Printing Operator to operate and maintain FFG (Flexo Folder Gluer) machines. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in corrugated box printing operations, machine setup, troubleshooting, and quality control. The operator will be responsible for ensuring production targets, print quality standards, and machine effectively are achieved safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor FFG machines as per production requirements.
* Perform machine setup, Job changeovers, and printing adjustments.
* Ensure proper print registration, color matching, and print quality.
* Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance activities.
* Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with the maintenance team when required.
* Minimize wastage and ensure optimum machine utilization.
• Follow production schedules and achieve planned output targets.
* Maintain production records, machine logs, and quality reports.
* Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and company policies.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience in operating FFG machines.
* Knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing and printing processes.
* Understanding of print quality standards, color control, and registration settings.
* Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to read and understand job cards and production specifications.
* Problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience: • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the corrugated packaging industry. • Proven experience in operating and maintaining FFG printing machines.
Qualification: • ITI / Diploma / HSC or equivalent qualification preferred.
* Technical training related to printing or packaging machinery will be an added advantage.
Work Environment: This role is based at our manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon MIDC, Pune. The Printing Operator will work closely with the Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure effectively manufacturing operations, consistent product quality, and continuous improvement in plant performance.
