Job Description:

The Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance Executive will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable direct and indirect tax laws, including Income Tax, TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.
The role involves tax return filing, reconciliations, assessments, audits, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:
∙Preparation and filing of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
∙Monthly reconciliation of TDS deducted and deposited.
∙Issuance and verification of TDS certificates.
∙Compliance with Income Tax provisions and statutory requirements.
∙Preparation of tax workings and support for tax audits.
∙Coordination for Income Tax assessments, notices, and appeals.
∙Monitoring changes in direct tax laws and ensuring compliance.
∙Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B,GSTR-8, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C).
∙Reconciliation of GST data with books of accounts.
∙Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance.
∙Handling GST audits, assessments, notices, and departmental queries.
∙Ensuring compliance with GST provisions related to invoicing, e-way bills, and e-invoicing.
∙Coordination with business teams for GST-related matters.
Monitoring updates in GST laws and implementing necessary changes.
∙Preparation of tax reports and MIS for management.
∙Support during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
∙Liaison with consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
∙Maintaining tax records and documentation.
∙Ensuring timely compliance with all statutory deadlines.

Candidate Profile:
∙3–8 years of experience in Direct and Indirect Tax Compliance.
∙Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
∙Good understanding of tax laws and regulations.
∙Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, ZOHO, Tally, etc.).
∙Advanced Excel skills.
∙Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
∙Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
∙Ability to work within strict compliance timelines.

Qualification -
∙CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com.
∙Additional certification in GST or Taxation will be an advantage.
