Officer / Executive - Safety

Job Description:

• Knowledge of Work Permit System (Hot, Cold, Height, Confine Space work permit, Excavation work permit) and Scaffolding ladder safety.
• To adopt best practices in all jobs and continually improve them to aim for zero accidents by reviewing performance and having an action plan.
• Preparing reports for day today activity and coordinating with reporting officer/ Manager.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and implement effective safety management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance on industrial safety best practices to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ensure accurate documentation of safety records, reports, and incident investigations.
• Routine Inspection of safety equipment.
• Issue work permit.
• Investigation incident and reporting.
• Emergency Handling.
• Maintain Safety Related Documents.
• IMS System awareness and documentation.
• Audit w.r.t. to Safety Compliance and Identify unsafe act and condition and communication to respective area in charge for compliance.
• Conduct, Safety Induction.
• On job Training at shop floor.
• Contractor equipment inspection.
• Workshop audits w.r.t. Contractor safety Management.
