Area Sales Manager (ASM) DMC Products Sales

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales of DMC (Destination Management Company) products across assigned territories. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with travel agents, tour operators, OTAs, and corporate travel partners while promoting international and domestic DMC offerings, group tours, FIT packages, transfers, sightseeing, and land arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
• Identify, acquire, and onboard new travel agents, tour operators, and channel partners.
• Promote and sell DMC products across assigned destinations.
• Expand the company's B2B distribution network and market presence.
• Generate new business opportunities through field sales, referrals, and networking.
Sales & Revenue Generation
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Promote FIT, GIT, MICE, honeymoon, leisure, and customized holiday packages.
• Increase sales of hotels, transfers, sightseeing, attraction tickets, cruises, and destination services.
• Develop strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and key accounts.
• Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and destination training sessions.
• Provide product updates, promotional offers, and destination knowledge.
• Ensure high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
Product Promotion
• Educate travel partners on destination-specific products and DMC services.
•Conduct webinars, roadshows, trade events, and sales campaigns.
• Support agents in itinerary planning and package customization.
• Collaborate with destination teams and suppliers to enhance product offerings. Market Intelligence
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Identify emerging travel destinations and customer preferences.
• Provide market feedback to management for product development.
Reporting & Coordination
• Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates.
• Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
• Coordinate with operations and reservations teams for seamless booking execution.
• Follow up on payments and account reconciliations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Travel Sales, DMC Sales, Holiday Sales, or Destination Sales.
• Strong understanding of international travel products and destination management services.
• Experience managing travel agent and tour operator networks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
