MECHANICAL FITTER FOR STRUCTURAL ROLLINGMILL - RAIPUR, CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and plant machinery.
• Install, dismantle, repair, and overhaul mechanical components to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical faults in pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, motors, bearings, and rotating equipment.
• Carry out alignment, coupling, bearing replacement, and machine assembly activities.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems for reliable equipment performance.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Read engineering drawings and execute maintenance work according to maintenance schedules.
• Replace worn-out mechanical parts and ensure proper functioning of machinery.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, maintenance standards, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Participate in shutdown maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and plant productivity.
• Candidates with experience in steel plants, rolling mills, or heavy industrial mechanical maintenance will be preferred.
