Job Description:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and plant machinery.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, motors, panels, transformers, and control circuits.
- Carry out maintenance of HT/LT panels, MCCs, switchgears, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Perform cable laying, panel wiring, termination, and electrical testing as per plant requirements.
- Coordinate with production, mechanical, and instrumentation teams during maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and electrical logbooks accurately.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and upgradation of electrical systems and machinery.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and plant productivity.
- Candidates with experience in steel plants, rolling mills, power plants, or heavy industrial electrical maintenance will be preferred.
