General Manager – Planning & PMO
Department: Construction & Projects
Reporting To: Project Director / CEO
Location: Corporate Office / Project Site
Job Summary
Lead the Project Planning & Controls function across multiple construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, resource planning, project monitoring, risk management, and effective project control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Prepare WBS, project baselines, milestones, and execution plans.
- Monitor project progress, analyze delays, and prepare recovery plans.
- Manage resource planning, procurement schedules, and cash flow forecasts.
- Track project costs, EVM, KPIs, MIS, and project dashboards.
- Conduct delay analysis, EOT assessments, and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with Project, Design, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, QA/QC, and Safety teams.
- Drive planning automation, BIM integration, and digital project controls.
- Lead and mentor the Planning team while standardizing planning processes.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech (Civil)
- Primavera P6/MS Project Certification preferred
- PMP certification is an added advantage
Experience
- 18–20 years in Project Planning & Controls
- Experience with Residential, Commercial, and Hotel projects in Real Estate/EPC organizations
- Proven leadership experience managing planning teams
