Job Description:

Job Title: Director / Vice President – Business Development & Account Management (GCC & Media/Entertainment)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, high-impact growth leader to drive our Global Capability Center (GCC) practice and oversee our Media & Entertainment portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for two critical growth vectors: originating new GCC setups from Tier 1 enterprises, and scaling existing GCCs by transitioning new capabilities. Additionally, you will serve as the strategic anchor for our Media & Entertainment clients, managing high-value relationships and delivering tailored digital transformation, technology, or operational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • GCC Origination & Hunting: Identify, pitch to, and win new GCC setups from global Tier 1 companies looking to build offshore or nearshore capability hubs.
  • Existing GCC Scaling (Farming): Partner with existing Tier 1 GCCs to expand their footprint, helping them mature from cost centers to value-driven innovation hubs by introducing advanced capabilities (e.g., AI, Cloud, Data Analytics).
  • Media & Entertainment Portfolio Management: Act as the primary executive contact for Media & Entertainment clients. Understand their unique industry disruptions (streaming, content supply chain, ad-tech, personalization) and position relevant service offerings.
  • Strategic Advisory: Guide C-suite stakeholders through the entire GCC lifecycle—from feasibility studies and location strategy to talent acquisition frameworks and operational scale.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with delivery, solution architecture, and legal/compliance teams to build compelling, customized commercial proposals and operational frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 12–18+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Strategic Account Management within IT Services, Consulting, or Global Capability Centers.
  • GCC Expertise: Proven track record of successfully setting up new GCCs or significantly scaling existing setups for Fortune 500 / Tier 1 enterprises.
  • Industry Domain: Strong network and deep domain understanding of the Media & Entertainment ecosystem (Broadcasting, Streaming/OTT, Gaming, Publishing, or Advertising).
  • C-Suite Gravitas: Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and negotiate complex deals with CXOs, GCC Heads, and global business leaders.
  • Commercial Acumen: Expertise in complex deal structuring, pricing models (e.g., BOT – Build-Operate-Transfer, Managed Services), and contract negotiations.
