Job Description:

• Lead and oversee overall plant operations to achieve production, quality, cost, safety, and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with organizational goals and operational objectives.
• Drive operational excellence by optimizing production processes, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, procurement, finance, HR, and logistics teams for seamless plant operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, operational costs, and implement cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental norms, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and process optimization programs.
• Oversee manpower planning, leadership development, succession planning, and employee performance management.
• Review production schedules, maintenance plans, inventory levels, and customer delivery commitments.
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, government authorities, and other business stakeholders.
• Prepare MIS reports, business reviews, operational dashboards, and strategic presentations for senior management.
• Candidates with extensive leadership experience in integrated steel plants, power plants, or heavy manufacturing industries will be preferred.
