Founding Product & Technology Lead

About the Role
We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Founding Product & Technology Lead to build and scale our flagship B2B SaaS platform from the ground up. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building products from scratch, defining technology strategy, making architecture decisions, and leading high-performing engineering teams.
As one of the founding members of the technology organization, you will own the end-to-end product engineering function—from product architecture and MVP development to scaling the platform for enterprise customers. You will work closely with the founders, product stakeholders, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions that solve real business problems.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Technology Leadership
- Define the product technology vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of a scalable, API-first enterprise SaaS platform.
- Build and launch products from MVP through commercial scale.
- Collaborate with founders and product teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, architecture governance, and technical excellence.
Engineering Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
- Establish agile development processes, sprint planning, and release management.
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Participate in hiring and scaling the technology organization.
Solution Architecture
- Design secure, scalable, cloud-native microservices architecture.
- Build enterprise-grade APIs and integration frameworks.
- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of applications.
- Implement authentication, authorization (RBAC), audit trails, monitoring, and logging.
Product Delivery
- Own technical delivery timelines and execution.
- Drive continuous product improvements based on customer feedback.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver intuitive and user-centric experiences.
- Ensure high-quality software through testing, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Software Development.
- Minimum 3+ years leading engineering teams.
- Proven experience building B2B SaaS products from concept to production.
- Experience working in startups or as an early engineering leader is highly preferred.
