Design Engineer (Packaging Machines) at Vasai east in Mumbai

Job Description:

Qualification: BE / Diploma in Mechanical or Production.
Experience: minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Designing of packaging machineries building organisation. Technically competent at understanding machineries, conversant with engineering practices. Proficient knowledge of manufacturing & assembly, Pneumatic & Basic electrical/electronics related to Machine building.
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai

Key Job Responsibilities
Design components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, and AutoCAD) with detailed drawings and calculations.
Generate BOMs for machines/assemblies and maintain a library of standard parts and as-built drawings.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Assembly, QA, and Automation teams to implement customized projects successfully.
Drive innovation and improvements in machine design, process simplification, and cost optimization.
Manage project scope, timelines, costs, and documentation.
Support troubleshooting, assembly, validation, and commissioning activities.
Work with Sales to understand customer requirements and participate in technical discussions.
Take ownership of design projects and guide cross-functional teams to meet delivery and quality expectations
