Purchase & Vendor Development Engineer (Packaging Machines) at Vasai east in Mumbai

Job Description:

Qualification: BE / Diploma in Mechanical or Production.
Experience: minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in or precision machining. Strong hands-on machining background preferred.
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai

Key Job Responsibilities
Develop vendors for machined components and outsourced job work.
Handle procurement of mechanical components from external vendors.
Possess knowledge of material finishing and surface treatment processes.
Conduct cost negotiations and evaluate vendor performance.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure quality compliance of outsourced parts.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Stores teams.
Actively participate in CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) activities.
Knowledge of Tally software is an added advantage.

They procure mechanical components by coordinating with external manufacturers to ensure the parts are produced according to the specified engineering drawings.)
