Service Engineer (Packaging Machines) at Vasai east in Mumbai
Job Description:
Qualification: ITI/ Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics.
Experience: minimum 4 to 6 years of proven experience in packaging machine manufacturing Industries.
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai
Key Job Responsibilities
Perform machine setup, assembly, IFAT (Initial Factory Acceptance Test) and CFAT (Customer Factory Acceptance Test).
Install, commission, and troubleshoot tube filler, cartoner, and bundler machines at customer sites.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
Calibrate machines, train operators, and guide clients for proper operation.
Maintain accurate service reports, spares usage, and coordinate with design, production, and QA teams for improvements.
Hands-on knowledge of mechanical components, pneumatic, electrical wiring, PLCs, and industrial automation; strong troubleshooting and client-handling skills.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and client-handling skills.
Experience with packaging machines (tube filler, cartoner, and wrapping) and industrial automation is an added advantage.
