Job Description:
Position: Purchase Engineer
Location: Andheri - Mumbai
Experience: 5 - 7 Years
Industries: FMCG
Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement of engineering services, maintenance services, and plant spares.
- Develop and manage a reliable vendor’s raise PO is SAP and taking follow up with suppliers.
- Float RFQs, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders as per company policies.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet plant requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance, production, and project teams for technical specifications and planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Evaluate supplier performance and take corrective actions when required.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of engineering services and spare parts procurement.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering drawing and calculation of job work rate.
- Vendor development and cost control expertise.
- Maintain procurement documentation and records in S4 HANA SAP.
Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
Salary :- Upto 14.00 LPA
