Data Entry Operator

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
 Perform accurate data entry of engineering and production-related information into
the ERP system.
 Create, update, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERP.
 Enter and update item masters, material codes, and engineering data.
 Read and interpret mechanical design drawings for data entry purposes.
 Coordinate with the Design, Production, Purchase, and Stores teams for accurate data
updates.
 Maintain revision history of drawings and BOMs in the ERP system.
 Ensure accuracy and consistency of engineering data across all systems.
 Generate basic ERP reports as required by the Engineering and Production teams.
 Verify engineering documents before entering data into the ERP system.
 Maintain proper documentation and records of engineering data.
Required Skills

 Basic knowledge of ERP software (any Manufacturing ERP).
 Understanding of Mechanical Engineering drawings.
 Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM).
 Good knowledge of MS Excel.
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
 Good analytical and documentation skills.
 Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
