Sales Executive /Sales Manager - Ground Mounted
Job Description:
Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Commercial & Industrial segment. Generate leads through direct customer engagement, consultants, channel partners, and industry networks. Build strong relationships with plant heads, facility managers, CFOs, procurement teams, and business owners. Develop strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue and MW targets. Sales & Customer Acquisition Promote rooftop solar EPC, CAPEX, OPEX/RESCO, and solar leasing solutions. Conduct energy assessments and understand customer electricity consumption patterns. Present value propositions including energy savings, ROI, payback analysis, and sustainability benefits. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing. Techno-Commercial Proposal Development Coordinate with engineering and design teams for site assessments and system sizing. Prepare and review techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and financial models. Develop customized solutions based on customer requirements and budget considerations. Contract Negotiation & Closure Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective clients. Finalize EPC agreements, OPEX contracts, service agreements, and project documentation. Ensure timely closure of opportunities while maintaining profitability targets. Key Account Management Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic customers. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project execution and post-installation support. Market Intelligence Monitor market trends, government policies, net-metering regulations, and competitor activities. Identify emerging opportunities in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, food processing, warehousing, hospitals, educational institutions, and commercial real estate sectors. Provide market feedback to management for business strategy development. Team Leadership Mentor and guide business development team members. Support sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reviews. Drive a high-performance sales culture focused on results and customer satisfaction. Required Skills Strong understanding of rooftop solar systems and EPC business models. Knowledge of net-metering regulations, open access, and renewable energy policies. Financial analysis skills including ROI, IRR, payback period, and energy cost savings calculations. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Ability to engage with CXOs, business owners, and decision-makers. Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities. CRM, Microsoft Office, and sales pipeline management proficiency.
