Accountant-Mumbai(Andheri East)

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and banking transactions. Candidates should possess average English communication skills for handling emails and basic professional communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal departments as required.
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Experience in bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
• Basic knowledge of statutory compliance.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Average English communication (spoken and written).
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
  
  Working Days: Monday to Saturday
  Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
