Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive – Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience in the manufacturing industry with hands-on expertise in Tally Prime, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
KRA: Task / Activities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally Prime.
- Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers, and ledger reconciliations.
- Handle GST computation, return filing, and statutory compliance.
- Manage TDS deductions, payments, and return filing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
- Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure timely compliance with taxation and accounting regulations.
- Prepare financial reports and MIS as required by management.
KPI: Performance Metrics
- Timely completion of GST & TDS filings.
- Accuracy in bookkeeping and financial records.
- Zero compliance delays or statutory penalties.
- Timely completion of month-end closing.
- Accuracy in reconciliations and journal postings.
- Audit readiness and documentation compliance.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime.
- Basic knowledge of inventory accounting.
- Basic knowledge of TDS & GST.
- Expertise in bookkeeping and journal entries.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Financial reconciliation and reporting skills.
Preferred skills
- Experience in Manufacturing/FMCG/Nutraceutical industry./Ecommerce
- MIS reporting.
- MS Excel proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
