Job profile

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Analog Hardware Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in analog electronics design. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Analog electronics circuit design, must have simulation skills using LTSpice and PSpice, a foundational understanding of EMI/EMC standards, and prior exposure to DRDO/HAL defence projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in mission-critical hardware for defence and aerospace applications under the guidance of senior engineer.

Job Role and Responsibilities

1.Support the design and development of analog and mixed-signal circuits including signal conditioning, sensor interfaces, and power supply circuits for defence/aerospace applications.

  1. Perform circuit simulation using: LTspice and PSpice.
  2. Assist in schematic capture, PCB layout review, and component selection for analog sub systems.
  3. Implement and verify filtering techniques, isolation circuits, and protection networks to ensure circuit performance and reliability.
  4. Assist in EMI/EMC compliance testing and contribute to designing circuits that meet applicable standards (MIL-STD-461, DO-160).
  5. Support design validation and testing activities including bench testing, functional verification, and environmental screening.
  6. Prepare and maintain hardware documentation including design notes, test reports, and BOM (Bill of Materials).
  7. Collaborate with senior engineers, firmware, PCB layout, and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  8. Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of analog hardware issues.
  9. Optimize analog circuits for precision signal acquisition, conditioning, and reliable performance under stringent aerospace and defence requirements.
  10. Provide technical support in bid responses, proposal creation, and customer presentations with emphasis on compliance, performance, and reliability.

Skills & Experience Mandatory

  1. 1–3 years of experience in analog electronics design, preferably in a defence/aerospace environment.
  2. LTSpice and PSpice Hands-on proficiency in circuit simulation using DRDO and/or HAL projects prior work experience.
  3. Familiarity with analog design fundamentals: op-amp circuits, filters, ADC/DAC interfaces, power supply topologies, and sensor conditioning.
  4. Basic knowledge of PCB design and signal integrity concepts. Understanding of component selection for rugged/military-grade applications.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
  6. Hands on experience in dealing with circuit protection, EMI-EMC (CS, EFT, Surge, RS, RE, ESD), understanding of signal integrity.
  7. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Reliability (DFR), and environmental stress screening (ESS).
  8. Familiarity with aerospace/defence qualification processes, compliance requirements, and related documentation.
  9. Should know how to perform MTBF and MTTR. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to work independently in a structured, process-driven environment.

Preferred

  1. Exposure to mixed-signal design and interfaces with microcontrollers (SPI, I²C, UART).
  2. Familiarity with MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-810G/H, or DO-160 qualification processes.
  3. Basic knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and reliability practices (MTBF).
  4. Experience with simulation/EDA tools such as Multisim, TINA-TI, or Proteus.
  5. Understanding of RF analog hardware is an added advantage.
  6. Exposure to defence platforms (airborne, ground-based, or naval systems).
