Job Description:

We are a leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical automotive components, specializing in high-quality switches and precision-engineered products for OEMs and Tier-1 automotive customers. We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization's strategic growth, operational excellence, manufacturing performance, and business expansion.

Position Summary:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the organization, including manufacturing operations, production, quality, supply chain, engineering, business development, customer relationship management, financial performance, and long-term strategic planning.
The incumbent will drive operational efficiency, profitability, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualification & Experience:
B.E. / Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 20+ years of progressive experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
Proven leadership experience in a senior management role such as CEO, COO, Plant Head, Business Head, or Vice President - Operations.
Experience with reputed Automotive OEMs or Tier-1 Automotive Component Manufacturing companies is mandatory.

Work location: Vasai East in Mumbai.
Reports to: Board of Directors / Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the company's strategic vision, business plans, and growth initiatives.
Drive long-term business expansion while ensuring sustainable profitability.
Identify new market opportunities, products, and customer segments.
Lead organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

2) Manufacturing & Plant Operations
Oversee complete plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Tool Room, Engineering, Stores, Logistics, and Dispatch.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
Drive manufacturing excellence through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Industry best practices.
Improve plant productivity, operational efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost optimization.
Monitor production planning and execution to ensure timely delivery.

3) Production Management
Ensure achievement of daily, monthly, and annual production targets.
Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, and manufacturing performance.
Reduce rejection, rework, wastage, and manufacturing costs.
Implement robust production planning and inventory management systems.

4) Quality & Customer Excellence
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, customer-specific requirements, and statutory regulations.
Drive zero-defect manufacturing culture.
Lead customer audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Enhance customer satisfaction through timely delivery and superior product quality.

5) Business Development & Sales
Develop new business opportunities with Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers.
Build and maintain long-term strategic customer relationships.
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract discussions.
Identify new products and business diversification opportunities.
Support new project acquisition and successful program launches.

6) Financial & Commercial Management
Drive profitability through effective cost control and operational efficiencies.
Prepare and monitor annual budgets and capital expenditure plans.
Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Improve working capital management and inventory optimization.

7) People Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and cross-functional teams.
Build a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative organizational culture.
Develop succession planning and leadership capability across the organization.
Promote employee engagement, safety, and continuous learning.

8) Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain corporate governance and ethical business practices.
Lead risk management initiatives and business continuity planning.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Strong exposure to electro-mechanical automotive components, switches, precision engineering, or allied automotive products.
Excellent understanding of automotive manufacturing systems, production planning, quality management, supply chain, and business development.
Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Cost Reduction, and Operational Excellence.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in customer relationship management and business growth.
Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and automotive quality systems.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
