Business Analyst (BA Executive)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA Executive) to join our Product team. In this role, you will work closely with the Product, Development, QA, and Customer Success teams to understand business requirements, define product specifications, and ensure features are delivered successfully.

Beyond requirement gathering, you will also play an important role in improving the customer experience by creating product documentation, knowledge base articles, training materials, and in-app product tours.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements from customers and internal stakeholders.
Convert business requirements into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with the Product and Development teams throughout the feature development lifecycle.
Create process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications where required.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product discussions.
Perform functional testing and validate features before release.
Coordinate with the QA team to ensure product quality and business requirements are met.
Analyze customer feedback and recommend product improvements.
Set up and maintain in-app product tours to improve user onboarding and feature adoption.
Create and maintain knowledge base articles, user guides, FAQs, and product documentation.
Develop training materials, product walkthroughs, and onboarding resources for customers and internal teams.
Work closely with the Customer Success team to identify documentation and training gaps and continuously improve educational content.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on SaaS products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience writing PRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.
Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
Familiarity with Confluence, Notion, or other documentation platforms.
Basic understanding of APIs and software integrations.
Experience creating wireframes using Figma, Balsamiq, or similar tools.
Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or FinTech product company is an advantage.
