SAFETY MANAGER FOR METAL INDUSTRY - RAIPUR, CHHATTISGARH

• Policy Development: Formulate, enforce, and continuously update comprehensive health and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, EPA, or local regional equivalents). 

• Inspections & Audits: Perform routine site evaluations, hazard assessments, and equipment checks to prevent accidents before they occur. 

• Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause inquiries into accidents, injuries, or near-misses, and develop actionable preventative measures. 

• Training & Education: Design and deliver engaging safety programs, toolbox talks, and onboarding orientations for all staff and vendors. 

• Metrics & Reporting: Track incident metrics, maintain meticulous compliance records, and report safety trends to senior management. 

• Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a closely related engineering discipline. 

• Certifications: Preferred credentials include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or OSHA/NEBOSH accreditations, depending on your region. 

• Experience: Generally requires 2+ to 5+ years of hands-on experience in health and safety operations, often within environments like manufacturing, construction, or logistics.

• Leadership & Influence: Ability to bridge the gap between upper management and on-the-ground employees to promote a "safety first" culture.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate emergency action plans and deliver presentations.

• Problem-Solving: Strong critical-thinking and risk-assessment abilities to analyze workplace processes and design practical hazard controls.
