SECURITY OFFICER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - ASANSOL,WESTBENGAL
Job Description:
- Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular interior and exterior property patrols to identify security vulnerabilities, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
- Access Control: Regulate entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor logs, and preventing unauthorized individuals from entering the premises.
- Surveillance Operations: Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and security software to detect suspicious behavior or unusual activity.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the first point of contact during crises, coordinate with local authorities (police, fire departments, medical personnel), and facilitate building evacuations when necessary.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed daily activity logs and write objective, comprehensive reports for any security incidents or breaches.
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations and manage disputes calmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in military, law enforcement, or private security is highly preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, perform patrols in all weather conditions, and quickly respond to physical incidents.
- Composure: Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure or dangerous situations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating modern security screening, alarm, and surveillance equipment.
- Licensing: Often requires region-specific licenses (e.g., a state-issued Guard Card) and certifications such as CPR and First Aid.
