Junior UI Developer (AI Applications & Modern Web Experiences)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior UI Developer who is passionate about building modern, intuitive, and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate should have foundational experience in React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and exposure to AI driven applications such as chatbots, conversational interfaces, copilots, or agent-based systems.

This role will work closely with product owners, UX designers, application developers, and AI solution teams to create simple, elegant, and user-friendly experiences that improve business productivity and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build reusable UI components and maintain consistency across applications
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs and AI services
• Participate in UI/UX discussions and contribute ideas for improving user experience
• Support the development of AI powered business applications
• Test, debug, and enhance application performance
• Follow coding standards and source control best practices
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to deliver high quality solutions

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

Front End Development

• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• React.js
• Responsive Web Design
• REST API integration

UI Development

• Ability to convert wireframes or mockups into functional user interfaces
• Understanding of component based development
• Experience building responsive layouts for desktop and mobile devices
• Basic understanding of accessibility principles

AI Exposure

• Hands on experience with AI powered applications such as:
• Chatbots
• Virtual assistants
• Copilot experiences
• RAG applications
• Agent based systems
• Understanding of prompt engineering principles
• Experience integrating AI APIs into web applications is preferred

Development Tools

• Git and GitHub
• VS Code
• Postman
• Agile development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or Copilot Studio
• Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI frameworks
• Familiarity with modern UI libraries such as:
• Material UI
• Fluent UI
• Ant Design
• Experience working with Figma designs
• Understanding of authentication and role-based access control
