About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Conferences to lead the planning and execution of large-scale conferences, industry events, and knowledge-sharing platforms. The role involves managing end-to-end conference operations, developing sponsorships and partnerships, coordinating with speakers and stakeholders, and ensuring successful event delivery within budget.

This is a strategic role for a professional who enjoys project management, stakeholder engagement, business development, and event execution.

Key Responsibilities
Conference Management
Plan and execute annual conference and event portfolios.
Develop event calendars, timelines, and implementation plans.
Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery.
Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Create and improve conference processes, SOPs, and workflows.
Event Planning & Execution
Coordinate with internal teams, experts, and organizing committees.
Manage registrations, venue arrangements, logistics, hospitality, and event operations.
Ensure a seamless experience for speakers, delegates, and partners.
Oversee exhibition areas, conference sessions, and on-site activities.
Sponsorship & Partnership Development
Build and manage sponsorship pipelines.
Identify and engage potential sponsors and industry partners.
Maintain long-term relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.
Coordinate sponsorship agreements, approvals, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain databases of sponsors, partners, and vendors.
Speaker & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate invitations and participation of industry leaders, experts, and speakers.
Manage travel, accommodation, hospitality, and honorarium processes.
Liaise with government bodies, professional associations, and institutional partners.
Support collaboration opportunities to strengthen conference programs.
Financial Management
Prepare event budgets and financial projections.
Monitor revenues, sponsorship collections, and event expenses.
Track profitability and budget adherence.
Coordinate with finance teams for reporting and reconciliations.
