Job Description:
A technician installs, maintains, and repairs equipment and systems. Key duties include troubleshooting malfunctions, performing routine maintenance, and documenting service reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Diagnostics: Test systems, run diagnostic tests, and identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Repair & Replacement: Fix broken components, replace faulty parts, and calibrate machinery.
- Installation: Set up, configure, and commission new hardware, wiring, or mechanical infrastructure.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of repairs, safety checks, and parts inventory.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training, associate degree, or trade certification (e.g., IT, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical or maintenance field.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, mechanical or digital aptitude, and familiarity with safety standards.
