Job Description:

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Store Keeper with 3–5 years of experience in the real estate or construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables while ensuring accurate stock records and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of construction materials and equipment.
  • Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requisitions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
  • Track material consumption and minimize wastage through effective inventory control.
  • Maintain proper documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), issue slips, and stock registers.
  • Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices within the store.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in the real estate, construction, or infrastructure industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
  • Experience handling construction materials, electrical, plumbing, and finishing items.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management software.
  • Good understanding of documentation, stock reconciliation, and material handling procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of construction material specifications and storage requirements.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or other inventory management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record keeping.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
