Job Description:
Role Overview
The Area Service Engineer will oversee territory-level service delivery, dealer performance, critical technical support, customer engagement, and continuous improvement of service KPIs. The role requires a hands-on engineer who can coordinate effectively across customers, dealers, and field-service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee service operations and customer support within the assigned territory.
- Analyse critical issues and coordinate technical-support escalations.
- Track dealer KPIs, service quality, response time, and repair turnaround time.
- Develop and implement actions to improve service performance.
- Support dealer development and readiness of new service channels.
- Visit key customers and gather feedback on product and service performance.
- Monitor competitor service practices and local market developments.
- Train service engineers and dealer service managers through practical coaching.
