Job Description:

Role - Cost Estimator

Working Days -  Monday to Saturday (alternative Sat holiday)

Working time - 10 to 6 PM

Location -  Rabale

JD

• Prepare cost estimate related to the designs by the design department in conjunction to desired material specifications or aesthetics provided.

• Prepare and Understand BOQ for accurate costing.

• Prepare sales invoices and document Purchase Bills for authorisation.

• Liasing with various, vendors and subcontractors to arrive at accurate pricing and to ensure the order is received successfully.

• Assessing cost effectiveness of projects and services, tracking actual costs related - to contracts awarded to vendors as the project develops, to ensure maximum job profitability.

• Placing order for materials with regards to costings as and when required. .

• Making e-way bills and challans.

• Strong vendor negation skills.

• To coordinate with desired vendors to obtain prices for materials and products for precise costings.

• To have a sound understandings of drawings.

• To have a sound understanding of industry related materials fabrication techniques to arrive at costs.

• To assist finance dept to arrive at project related profitability.

• To have strong command over Microsoft: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and industry related softwares.

• To read- auto cad, plans drawings and elevations for costings.

• To develop accurate cost formulas for faster and efficient costing.
